MYOB is one of the most recognized accounting software packages being used in New Zealand today. They offer solutions from basic cash books to complete accounting, inventory and payroll integrated systems. MYOB grows with your company, with many of the packages able to “upgrade” to the next level as your company grows. I assist in choosing the right package to start with, getting the software for you and installing it on your computer.
Set Up
Setting up your MYOB package IS THE MOST IMPORTANT part of the process. With my sound bookkeeping experience, setting up MYOB for several business in New Zealand and my ability to see the “big picture” I will work with you to ensure your MYOB set up meets your requirements, even the ones you may not know you have yet!
Training
Bookkeeping runs in a cycle from month to month and year to year. I offer training in two hour segments and in sync with the bookkeeping cycle. You will be taught on your system with your customers and suppliers how to:
- Enter sales
- Enter bills
- Receive money
- Pay money
- Do a bank reconciliation
- Prepare a GST return
- Run reports
- And so much more
Training on MYOB is tailored to your business. After each session you will receive customized “How To” notes based on your lesson.
Beyond MYOB
MYOB offers more than accounting. It is a powerful database program that can “talk” to other programs, like Word and Excel. You can use it to do direct marketing, mass mailings, promotions, etc. Working with Excel you can further analyse your numbers, change budgets around to see “what if”, etc.
Not too familiar with Word or Excel – no worries. I offer tuition in both so you can gain the maximum benefit for ALL your software programs, tailored to your needs!
Afterwards
Once MYOB is up and running I keep in touch to ensure all is well. Clients are always welcome to call or email with questions. No question too small!
